Edgardo D Rodriguez

Edgardo D Rodriguez

Edgardo "Eddie" Daniel Rodriguez "Fast Eddie" Edgardo "Eddie" Rodriguez passed away on January 11, 2005. Our son, brother, uncle and friend will be greatly missed by many. Born October 17, 1962 in Montevideo Uruguay. His family moved to Salt Lake City in 1970. Eddie graduated from East High School in 1982 and the University of Utah in 1986. Eddie was very special, born without hands, he conquered every task he took on. Not only was he one of the best soccer players this state has seen, he played pool at tournament levels and had a 180 bowling average. There was nothing he couldn't do! He was a winner! Everyone who met Eddie remembered him. His comment afterwards was always, "after all these years, how'd they recognize me?" His favorite teams were the Yankees, Cowboys, Jazz, Utes, and, "whoever was playing BYU." Favorite musical artists: Jimmy Buffet & the king, Frank Sinatra. Other favorites: Vegas & Blackjack, Wyoming Downs, a good argument, and his newest hobby, sailing the Great Salt Lake. Eddie worked for G. E. Capital and absolutely loved it! His drive to succeed focused him on a path where he was just informed that he was named "Rookie of the Year"!
